My name is Ekim Göktürk
I discovered I had a passion for food photography while working in the hospitality industry. To feed this passion I enrolled in a workshop in New York which led to a series of private lessons that enabled me to hone my art as both a stylist and photographer. In 2009 I became a full time photographer focussing on still life, television work and production food styling. I am now living between Istanbul and Sydney while working on some exciting projects in Europe and the US.
I am passionate about creating visual stories, fresh perspectives and unusual set ups. I particularly enjoy more challenging briefs and like being pushed to create images that express more complex messages.
